Endless noise
The roar of endless streams of traffic fills the room, a cacophonic symphony of unwanted sound stretched as a background of the night. Now it is morning, and I look with trepidation at the list of calls and decisions and tasks to do today, a list which seems to grow longer each day. I would prefer to be scoring things off and approaching a point of nothing serious and business-like left to do. But that may not be, so in the midst I ask God to fill me with his peace, with his grace and most of all, with his love. This is the day the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it...whatever happens to the list of grunge tasks.
