I don't like to be outsmarted by my computer. Somehow, while I was sleeping, it updated its search engine and now I seem to be stuck in a different search engine which has, ironically, has left me searching for my usual sites.
Searching. We're all searching for something, and I find myself 'googling' answers to myriad questions, recipes, crossword clues, etc, on a daily basis. I shop via google. And I knew the way to do it, until this morning.
It's all about learning, and life is a schoolroom. It's good for my brain to be challenged. I know that. But just not now. I have a limited amount of time before an appointment and I didn't want to be frustrated like this.
At least the Bible's contents won't have changed overnight, nor the way to find what I am searching for. Prayer takes me into an awareness and receptivity to God's presence, and then I am more open to finding him, and what I really need deep down inside, as I read the Bible.
As for the search engine and the laptop, it'll have to be a quick email to one of my sons ...
