It’s a clear, crisp morning – streaks of red stripe the sky, ice cracks on the puddles, and peace has been restored. There is no wind, wild or gentle. Calm.

I have been involved in a Situation. Relationships were broken. Hearts were sore. There seemed no way forward. Typical Christmas?

Humanly speaking, it seemed hopeless. An irrevocable break. There was nothing for it but to pray.

Yesterday, God reached down. He changed hearts. He encouraged apologies. He brought reconciliation. He restored relationship.

Now that is typical Christmas.

The wild winds have dropped. Peace has been restored.
